Apistogramma erythrura (Red-tailed Dwarf Cichlid) is a small, vibrant South American cichlid (up to 3 inches) featuring males with striking red tails and elongated fins. Found in the Mamoré and Guaporé basins, they thrive in 20+ gallon, sandy-bottomed, heavily planted tanks with driftwood/caves, water pH of 5.5-6.5, and 75-81°F.
